CrossPointe Church held its first service on November 21, 1982 by Pastor George Fountain as Raisinville Baptist Church. The initial services and location for the church were at the gymnasium of Raisinville Elementary School. Within four years of the churches beginning, plans were made for a building of their own.
In April of 1989, the ground breaking happened for the purchased property at Stewart Road. Through the building process, many churches and the families of Raisinville worked together to see the building come together. By God's grace and provision, the building was completed. A parade was had on May 20,1990 from Raisinville Elementary to the current church facility at 1675 Stewart Road.
After 26 years of faithfully leading the congregation of Raisinville Baptist Church, Pastor George B.A. Fountain retired in 2008 and was then designated as Pastor Emeritus.
In 2008, Dr. Tony Lynn was called to serve as the Lead Pastor. He served the church for over six years before accepting the call to serve at the Baptist State Convention of Michigan, to which the church is affiliated with. Under Pastor Tony's leadership, the church was renamed CrossPointe Church in 2014.
Pastor George Fountain agreed to assist the church as Interim Pastor and served at that capacity for one year. On November 1, 2016, Pastor Jay Anderson began as the Lead Pastor of CrossPointe Church and is still serving today.
